Coming off of a hard-core 3 month training regimen…I like to change things up a bit. To me, health & fitness is all about being FUN! So, while I have my eyes are set on NIFF Canada’s global competition this November, I am recharging my battery…so to speak.😁
Whether you are like me and recharging after a BIG competition or just need a change of pace…try these 5 things to REFUEL.
1. Try a new gym class.
It’s a fun way to stay FIT & mentally sharp. For me, it also melts away stress💕 One of my FAVES…reformer Pilates!!!
2. Pick up a new hobby.
I ❤️ to learn new things! Plus, learning something new doesn’t just expand your world…it also connects you with others who share your interests.😉
3. Mix it up!
I enjoy cooking and making new protein packed treats! Try a new recipe…that recharges and/or refuels the ones you ❤️.
4. Rest & Recharge
For a natural energy boost…carve out time for yourself to relax and refocus on something you enjoy. You’ll be AMAZED at how well you’ll feel after. And…don’t forget to get plenty of sleep😴 Your body needs at least 7-7 1/2 hours a night.
5. Celebrate family💖
Establish new traditions… like bringing everyone together regularly for an afternoon or evening. Being around the ones you ❤️…PRICELESS!!! I also classify my friends as family.😉
